Pram noted that organizing the event serves to channel the sporting enthusiasm of urban communities.
“I have agreed to hold the Liga Aspal matches in East Jakarta. While not all places could accommodate the league recently, I am certain that sites in East Jakarta, including this area in Kampung Melayu, are well-suited for it,” he expressed under the Kampung Melayu Flyover, Friday (11/6).
Borobudur RPTRA Set to Become Alternative Venue for Liga AspalParticipants in the Liga Aspal competition will compete for the East Jakarta Mayor’s Cup. In the future, he stated he will grant permission for the tournament to be rolled out across other parts of the province.
“In essence, what starts in East Jakarta will set the precedent, and I will permit all regions to host their own Liga Aspal,” he explained.
He also permitted the use of Child-Friendly Integrated Public Spaces (RPTRA) as supporting venues for staging Liga Aspal. However, Pramono reminded the public to maintain and protect the park facilities.
He expressed confidence that Liga Aspal could serve as an effective platform for youth activities, channeling their energy into positive pursuits.
Why did I give my spontaneous approval for Liga Aspal right here? It was based on the report presented earlier. Once this venue was established, along with the street football league, boxing facilities, and other programs, youth brawls in Kampung Melayu dropped significantly,” he stated.
